Siena won two First Place Best of Breed medals

on her way to becoming a National Champion Puppy.

Siena was a puppy from our very first [Barney X Sacha] litter, so Bob’s suggestion to name her after our kennel seemed appropriate.  With her mother Sacha’s confidence and solid build, her daddy’s outgoing, happy temperament and personality, strength and courage that allowed her to move past her fears, and a style that is uniquely her own, Siena was a delightful representation of this exceptional breed.  She completed puppy class with flying colors then at 6 months received a First Place in her AKC S.T.A.R. Puppy training test. A week later she became an IABCA National Champion Puppy.

Siena’s sweetness was pure and angelic.  She was a friend to all, adored baby puppies, loved her life.  Her greatest joy was being with her family....being the baby....just being.  And lizards! Searching the woodpile for lizards was her life’s work.

Shortly after her 4th birthday, Siena developed immune-mediated PolyArthritis.  Usually treatable, she did improve for awhile, but recovery was not to be.  Rest in Peace, our darling Siena. We miss you every day.
